Trudeau sells Hiverna to found a new outerwear brand called Quartz Nature.
Quartz Nature launches the Vostok jacket, which becomes a favourite among Arctic explorers.
Quartz Nature is acquired by brothers Jean-Philippe, François Xavier, and Guillaume Robert, and is renamed Quartz Co. The new management teams focus on modernizing the brand, developing the product, and building a new distribution network.
Quartz Co.’s first official jacket line launches. Identifying a need for a new generation of modern, high-quality outerwear featuring timeless design and performance and employing sustainable practices, Quartz Co. introduces its first collection, Classic, as an ode to the core of what the company was founded on.
The Canadian brand is distributed in France, Germany, the USA, Russia and Hong Kong.
Quartz Co. is available in 150 stores across eight countries.
Quartz Co. launches Edition, a directional line that explores new shapes and palettes.
Quartz Co. participates in international trade shows including Pitti Uomo, PREMIUM, and ISPO, and builds a distribution network across Europe and Asia.
Quartz Co. purchases two factories in Quebec, allowing the brand to manufacture quality products locally, at a larger scale.
Shortly after the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Quartz Co. dedicates one of its factories to the production of Level 2 Medical Gowns for the Canadian government.
Quartz Co. launches Forward, a sustainable line made from post consumer and post-industrial recycled fabrics.
Quartz Co. opens its first concept store in Montreal.
Quartz Co. products are now distributed in North America, Europe, and Asia.
