How Quartz Co. is reducing its environmental impact
We all have an impact on the planet, and we all have a role to play in reducing our environmental footprint. At Quartz Co., we strive to do our part by developing high-quality, durable and low-environmental-impact products.
Made-in-Canada products
All our jackets are entirely designed in our atelier, at 5445 De Gaspé, in Montreal, and manufactured in our factories in Montreal and Victoriaville, Que.
Most of the functional elements of our products, such as zippers, come from reputable Canadian suppliers to encourage the local economy and reduce our carbon footprint.
Our artisans and craftspeople are the cornerstone of our brand; their expertise allows us to maintain the highest standard of quality, and their invaluable knowledge helps guide our decisions.
Our raw materials
We carefully examine our raw materials and work with suppliers who employ production methods that reduces waste and the use of plastic and chemicals that endanger the ecosystems of our planet.
Our jackets are insulated with 100% Canadian white-duck down sourced from ethical farms and of certified traceable origin. All the down we use is a by-product of the food industry.
Our latest collection incorporates recycled textile fibres to achieve the highest levels of performance, comfort, and durability. The coats in the Forward collection contain an average of 65% recycled fibres and are Repreve, Bluesign, Oeko-Tex and Global Recycled Standard certified.
