The horizon—the thin line that stretches out between earth and sky —is much more than a destination. It’s a state of mind. It represents both possibility and progress: new discoveries to be made, trails to blaze, and challenges to surmount. To keep an eye on the horizon means to look and to drive—squarely towards the future. This intrepid mentality sits at the center of Quartz Co.’s FW21 collection, titled New Horizons. Drawing upon the current atmosphere of regeneration and renewal, this season’s offering represents Quartz Co.’s next steps across the plane of progress as it pioneers a new, greener path for premium outerwear.
Harnessing the future-facing symbol of the horizon, New Horizons sees Quartz Co. break new ground in its mission towards a more sustainable future. This season, Quartz Co. expands its offering of premium, eco-friendly materials, introducing PERTEX® to its perennial line-up of Oxford REPREVE® and ethical, traceable down fill. Engineered by the global leader in lightweight technical textiles, Quartz Co.’s PERTEX® is a durable, water-resistant fabric made from post-industrial recycled nylon. With the addition of PERTEX®, New Horizons advances an offering of winter jackets and coats made from 85% recycled fibers — a 35% increase from Quartz Co.’s previous collection.
With its gaze set firmly on the horizon, Quartz Co. pushes onward in its quest to reinvigorate the winter outwear industry. This Fall, New Horizons come into view: the future of sustainable performance is here.
