QUARTZ CO. ARRIVES ON NOTRE-DAME STREET

Designed by Studio Kiff, our new Notre-Dame boutique brings contemporary Canadian design to life through architecture, natural materials and craftsmanship.
Our new Montréal flagship boutique is now open at 2664 Notre-Dame Street West, where Little Burgundy meets Saint-Henri. Designed by Montréal-based Studio Kiff, the boutique opened its doors in October 2026, bringing together Quartz Co.'s complete collection of winter outerwear, clothing and accessories in a space where architecture and design meet. Joining our existing boutiques in Mile End and Royalmount, this new destination represents the most complete expression of our vision as a contemporary Canadian design house.

A Contemporary Interpretation of Canadian Design
Canadian identity has long been associated with familiar imagery: plaid flannel, log cabins and vast wilderness landscapes. For this project, Studio Kiff looked beyond these traditional references to explore a more contemporary expression of Canada through materials, textures and contrasts.
The result is a refined balance between raw and sophisticated, warm and cool, natural and architectural. These contrasts reflect the duality of Canadian life, where expansive landscapes meet vibrant cities and the changing seasons shape our everyday experiences.

Natural Materials, Contemporary Architecture
The boutique's distinctive character comes from a carefully curated selection of natural materials, complemented by contemporary architectural details.
With its raw texture and blue-grey tones, natural slate extends from the floor to the rear display wall, drawing inspiration from the rugged landscapes of Northern Canada.
A statement wall of burl walnut brings warmth and depth to the space. Its distinctive grain creates a natural contrast with the surrounding stone, balancing raw textures with refined finishes.
At the heart of the boutique, a sculptural counter crafted from River Blue marble stands out for its intricate veining and rich mineral tones, reminiscent of Canada's natural landscapes.
Soft cream walls provide a warm, understated backdrop, while clean-lined brushed-aluminum racks introduce a contemporary architectural contrast.
Completing the space, a carefully curated selection of lighting by Canadian design studios, including Bocci, JETA and ANDlight, highlights the architecture, natural materials and collections throughout the boutique.
When Outerwear Inspires Architecture
One of the boutique's most distinctive features is a custom quilted ottoman designed by Studio Kiff using the same premium textile featured in our Édition Collection.
Its generous volume, precise stitching and quilted construction echo the craftsmanship of a down jacket, while the Quartz Co. logo is subtly integrated at its centre.
More than a piece of furniture, it creates a direct connection between our approach to outerwear and the architectural identity of the space.
An Experience Designed Around the Collection
Every architectural element has been thoughtfully considered to complement the collections rather than compete with them.
Minimalist display racks, expansive natural surfaces and carefully positioned lighting create an inviting environment where each silhouette, texture and technical detail can be appreciated.
This approach reflects the Quartz Co. design philosophy: creating functional, enduring pieces defined by thoughtful design, quality materials and attention to detail.
Despite its intimate proportions, the boutique feels open and expansive. From the entrance, uninterrupted sightlines draw visitors through the space as its rich textures and architectural details gradually reveal themselves.
