INES Hooded Down Winter Jacket

J’ai longuement hésité avant d’investir autant pour un manteau. Mais j’ai comparé avec d’autres marques et autant le tissu que les coutures et la description du produit m’ont porté à croire que le manteau Inès me garderait bien au chaud (c’était mon critère no 1).
Le tissu protège effectivement du vent. Sauf que la coupe du capuchon laisse pénétrer l’air, même quand les cordons sont serrés au maximum. Comment l’entreprise peut-elle affirmer que le manteau convient pour les très grands froids (-30) alors que l’air froid se faufile amplement dans le capuchon et le cou?
D’autre part, le tissus devient plus rigide au froid et la doublure ne monte pas assez haut. Résultat : un frottement désagréable au niveau du visage. C’est réellement décevant d’investir autant pour être, au final, déçue par mon achat.
Malgré la gentillesse de l’équipe de vente, la promesse du produit n’est pas du tout tenue.

I hesitated for a long time before investing so much in a coat. But I compared it with other brands, and the fabric, stitching, and product description led me to believe that the Inès coat would keep me warm (which was my number one criterion). The fabric does indeed protect against the wind. Except that the hood's cut allows air to penetrate, even when the drawstrings are tightened as much as possible. How can the company claim that the coat is suitable for very cold weather (-30) if cold air can sneak in through the hood and neck? Furthermore, the fabric becomes stiffer in the cold and the lining doesn't come up high enough. The result is unpleasant rubbing against the face. It's really disappointing to invest so much money only to be disappointed with my purchase in the end.
Despite the kindness of the sales team, the product's promise is not fulfilled at all.

Within a single wear, I've had issues with my jacket- the zipper and the adjustment system, with one of the buttons breaking. I've reached out to the customer experience team for support, as it's concerning to have these issues with a brand new jacket. The jacket itself is beautiful and seems warm, but I was not lucky with the quality and much less getting any support from Quartz to try to exchange/return for a new jacket. No answer via e-mail, phone, just an AI automated message. This is very disappointing and will surely be the last time I make a purchase via Quartz or recommend.
